About Our Financial Advisors in Shrewsbury
We help individuals, couples, families, business owners and retirees understand the tools behind their wealth. That means accounts, funds, insurance policies and estate documents. We explain how each one works, what it costs and why it does or doesn't suit your goals. Then you decide.

Starting From the Building Blocks
Most people who reach us already hold a mix of accounts. There may be a 401(k) from one employer and an IRA rolled over from another. Add a taxable brokerage account and a term policy bought years ago. Each piece was chosen for a reason at the time. Our job is to lay them side by side and show what each one is built to do, and where it no longer fits.
Many products look alike on a statement and behave very differently underneath. A Roth IRA and a traditional IRA can hold the same funds, but one is taxed on the way in and the other on the way out. An index fund and an actively managed fund may own similar stocks while charging very different expense ratios. Term and permanent life insurance answer different questions entirely. We walk through those trade-offs in plain terms before anything in your portfolio changes.
That habit runs through all of our services, from financial planning and retirement planning to investment management and life insurance consulting. You see the options, what each one costs and the reasoning behind our recommendation.
How We Work With Clients
Alternatives shown together
Many decisions have more than one sensible answer. Funding a 529 plan or paying extra on a mortgage is one example. Taking a pension as a lump sum or as monthly payments is another. We put the choices next to each other so you can compare them on the same terms.
Costs named up front
We point out the fees attached to each option. These include fund expense ratios, advisory fees, surrender charges on annuities and cash-value policies, and the tax due when you sell a position with a large gain. A cheaper-looking product can cost more once those are counted.
Every piece reviewed as one plan
Investments, taxes, insurance and estate documents affect each other. A beneficiary designation on an IRA overrides what a will says, for example. We review them together, so a change made for tax management doesn't quietly undo your legacy planning.
Check-ins when life shifts
A new job, the sale of a business, an inheritance or the final years before retirement can change which tools fit best. We revisit the plan at those points instead of leaving an allocation set long ago.
Meeting Clients Across Monmouth County
We meet clients at our office in Shrewsbury, or by phone and video if that suits your schedule better. Many of the people we work with live in Red Bank, Little Silver, Middletown, Tinton Falls, Rumson, Long Branch, Eatontown and nearby towns. New Jersey handles retirement income and inheritances under its own rules. Those include an inheritance tax that depends on who receives the assets, so we weigh state rules alongside federal ones in every financial plan.
